These are fun little coasters I designed myself. I’ve made lots of coasters (lots, and lots…and lots), you’ll find them all over my house. But they were all pretty boring. I decided it was time for some shiny new coasters!
These coasters are based off of the light discs from TRON: Legacy. Light discs don’t have a center, but these are coasters, so they do. They are black, with blue and orange designs, for the two different program factions.

I created the pattern myself:
Round 1: sc 7 in a magic ring with black, join w/sl, ch1
Round 2: 2sc in every stitch (14), join w/sl, ch1
Round 3: 2sc, sc (21), join w/sl, ch1
Round 4: 2sc, sc, sc (28), join w/sl, ch1, for the ch1 use blue/orange
Round 5: 2sc, sc, sc, sc in blue/orange for 32st, switch back to black for last 3st (35), join w/sl, ch1
Round 6: 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc (42), join w/sl, ch1
Round 7: 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc (49), join w/sl, ch1, for both the sl and the ch1 use blue/orange
Round 8: 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc in blue/orange (52)
Fasten off, Secure ends
And you have some pretty sweet coasters!
