08/08 - Stiil binding off, it’s a nice rhythm. Had to tink back about 60 picots since one fell apart.

Today is the last day of Tokyo Olympics 2020. In the last couple of days I watched the USA defeat France in women’s basketball, and USA defeat Brazil in women’s volleyball! The Japanese people are so welcoming, and treated us to entertaining closing ceremonies.

08/05 - Starting the picot BO. It’ll probably take me a few days but will be oh so worth it!

08/03 - Thank goodness Bev (BooKnits) and Noelene (numptytoo) came to my rescue so I can continue the last part of this shawl. I moved my markers one stitch off, which threw me into a state of confusion. I’d be better off if I could still read charts, but oh well.

07/14 - I hope to finish this with enough time left to knit SD for Amber.

07/08 - About 60 stitches OTN and I see the top edge is puckering. Will start dropped yarnovers at each end. It’s still early, I’m not ripping back.

07/07 - Using US7.

I should have started this gorgeous shawl sooner, but confidence in my knitting skills is lacking due to eye issues. I hope to get this finished in time for their wedding!

Azra and Kris proposed to each other while vacationing in White Sands, NM! They’re precious together! They bought (temporary) rings from a local jeweler until they got back home.

They plan to honeymoon in Japan next year, depending on the status of the pandemic.
