Notes

For the Tempestry National Park project, Great Basin National Park, 1916 and 2016.

Donated to GBNP on August 2, 2021. Currently (as of July 2023) on display at the upper visitor center.

Current goal is to finish all of the knitting during the Iknitarod 2020. I’ll do the finishing with beads and trimming after that. (100% done! 3/19/2020)

Cable cast on in Day 1 color, then first row in Day 1 color (right side).

bindoff: Emily McNeil: I use the regular k1, k1, psso bindoff but go down several needle sizes. If you’re using US 9 or 10, try binding off using a 5 or 6, whatever you have handy.

1916 done except for trimming.
2016 done except for trimming.

January at the bottom and December at the top (think bar graphs!), all using the same yarn colors and temperature ranges. Beaded bar graph for precipitation on right side when facing tempestry.
