This was supposed to be for Christmas, but I got phased by the idea of dealing with all the ends, so it sat waiting for the ends to be grafted and sleeves dealt with for a few months.

Overall I am pleased with it and Leo was actually excited to put it on, though his modelling needs work as he refuses to stand still ever. Colour work is not really my thing but most of it’s pretty neat and making it up as I went along worked out fine, though I wish I’d gone for plainer straps because it made picking up the stitches a pain and I don’t think the fidlyness really added anything. My only gripe with the finished object is the picked up stitches which are pretty messy.

Size wise the 1-2 year size looks great on Leo at 17 months, perhaps a little long at the moment but he’s very short for his age.
