Stitch gauge is spot on, row gauge a little large. I’m getting 21 rows / 4” instead of 23. Don’t think I’ll make any adjustments b/c I’m tall and I want this to be large.

Finished the body ribbing but left it on the needles to check the length after putting in turtleneck. Knit 8” turtleneck ribbing as per pattern but picked up 6 fewer stitches for a closer fitting collar a la Babaa No. 17. Sewn tubular bind off. Tried it on. I’m really happy with the ease & fit so far! Skein 8 Lettlopi, skein 4 Einband.

Sewn tubular bind off on the hem. Took forever. Wove in all my ends so far. Honestly it’s pretty cute as a vest. Picked up and knit 8 decrease rounds of the sleeve. Decreasing every 4 rows instead of every 5 in the pattern. Will decrease for a total of 19 decrease rounds instead of 15 for a tighter cuff.

Finished the sleeve decreases. Added a row using size 8 needles stockinette before doing 4” ribbing. Tubular bind off. Skein 9 & 10 Lettlopi, skein 5 Einband.

NEXT TIME:

• Go up a needle size for the sleeves in the round.
• Go down another needle size for the cuffs
• Knit the hem and cuff ribbing to at least 5”
• Knit turtleneck even longer.
• Can go at least another inch in the body (on top of the ribbing)
