New project series: Make Stuff From Stash.
Rules: Look at the stash page on Ravelry, sorted by „date added“. Take one of your oldest yarns and make something with it - it doesn‘t matter what. Just so that you finish the yarn and can set it to „all used up“ status.

Don‘t stick to plans you had for the yarn some time ago. Just make something with it.

Prefer easy projects that don‘t need a pattern and can be finished in a few days.

About the zipper pouch

Crocheting freestyle was the easy part. Assembling the zipper, sewing it in, and so on, were major achievements for me.
Very happy with the following choices:

• Using an elastic as a zipper pull. It just has a nice feel to it.
• Making big zipper tabs. Very practical to hold while operating the zipper.
• Fastened a metal ring to the inside which can hold: flint, straw brush, bottle opener, corkscrew… any small item you don‘t want to lose in long grass (or mud)

Possible improvements:

• Add a handle on the outside so it can be hung from somewhere
• Make a fabric lining
