I tend to not be able to find my USB sticks when I need them. Also, I twice washed the same USB stick in the washing machine because it was still in my pocket (good news: it survived with all its data!)

So I decided to make them more visible by adding a huge knitted/crocheted flower to the stick.

I crocheted the center of the flower in the round, added petals (two rounds of them), then knitted a stem onto the backside (i-cord).

This flower has been a huge success. The USB stick can now hang on a hook in my room and be decorative while hanging, or hang from a pot. I never lose it in my bag, nor forget it in my pocket (the flower dangles on the outside). And I get lots of compliments at university.
