Door prize yarn from Create-It-Studio.

Instead of a provisional cast-on, used Judi’s Magic on and worked increases per instructions in Melissa Morgan-Oakes’ To-Up 2 at a Time sock book. I also did the gusset and faux heel flap instead of just a heel cup, substituting German Short Rows for the W&Ts.

I made a lot of mistakes in the conversion,but I believe I have learned it well enough now to use it on any sock.

I love the simple lace pattern.

July 2018: Put in time out because I found a dropped stitch and had to rip back several inches to fix it in the lace. I need a cooling off period before touching it again. I have the foot and a few inches of cuff of one sock done so far.

09/06/18 Finished #1 and worked toe of #2.

10/21/18 Finished #2. I wish I had made the cuffs longer.
