It took me a few tries to find the right yarn for the BF mitts. I tried to use stash yarn at first, but none of it was working right, either too much of a halo to be masculine enough or you couldn’t see the stitches, or the color change in the yarn didn’t work etc etc. Finally just bit the bullet and went yarn shopping, figuring it was one skein of a nice yarn for my nice husband, and we’re both worth it! It was between the Smooshy and the Madeline Tosh sock the pattern called for, but I liked the colors of the Smooshy best. Chris loves them! A little late for Christmas, due to the yarn issues, but within a week isn’t bad.
