I love this pattern with this yarn. It’s so satisfying when the two come together. I really like it with high contrast between the colors in the shell rows 24-26. I’m making it as a present and I couldn’t be more pleased.

The yarn can be splitty if you’re not careful. The smooth and pointy bamboo ChiaGoo hook was the best match for me.

The extra 6/10 of a cake (approx) was so I could add contrasting rows and make tassels. I also opted to cut out the spots where the colors joined, so there wouldn’t be any weird little lumps.

Update 8/18: Almost there! I have to block and properly attach the tassels. I’m really happy with the finished product!
