I have only made the owl for this project - I just thought he was so cute! I needed to use up some yarn I had left over from old projects and he seemed like a good use for it.
I made a few variations from the original pattern: I started with magic rings rather than ch2 + 6 in 2nd chain from hook - I just find the latter far too fiddly and frustrating; secondly I added 8x 2sc in each stitch on either side of the body for 2 rows to make him a little fatter.
