I love the simplicity of this pattern. I used the G hook for this yarn and it made for a very firm fabric, which really enhances the shaping and texture for this hat style. My brim came out just big enough, but that would be easy to modify. I borrowed the ribbon idea from the original pattern. A great use of some free acrylic yarn!

This hat would fit 20”-23” head circumference (it fits snuggly for my 23” head).

I rated the pattern with a medium difficulty because there are no specific stitch explanations so you’d need to be familiar with bpdc or search for a “how to” for this stitch.
