Knit as tubes two at a time concurrently. First Needles: addi turbo lace metal 24”; knitting magic loop

TAAT too fiddly; switched to one at a time on magic loop chiaogoo

Knit 7 1/4” from the toe

03-01-2019 Gusset and Heel Flap

Using the Sockmatician’s Toe-Ups pattern - tried and true!

Knit the gusset to 56 stitches before beginning the short row heel turn. Knit 39, m1L, GSR, then P21, m1rp, GSR
Continue to add a stitch then GSR working 2sts before each previous GSR

(Gusset measures 2”)

Used the Eye of Partridge Heel Flap
RS1: Sl1, k across, end with a k1 at 1 stitch before the gap, ssk, turn
WS: Sl 1, purl to 1 st before the gap, p2tog, turn
RS2: SL2, k across, ending with k2 at 1 stitch before the gap, ssk, turn
WS: Sl 1, purl to 1 st before the gap, p2tog, turn

Repeat these 4 rounds until all sts have been decreased and the heel stitch count is back to its pre-gusset number

03-03-2019 Leg & Cuff, Bind Off

Magic loop, 32” Chiagoo metal circ 2.25mm
Pick up and knit 2 stitches in each heel flap corner to close gaps.
Leg = 18 rounds (dec to 60 sts in this section)
Knit 2x2 Ribbed Cuff for 32 rounds
Bind off using a loosely done k2tog tbl
