Actually the brown yarn is “Shamrock” in the discontinued color “Graham,” brown with a variegated red, yellow and orange thread. Only the stripes are Wool of the Andes.

Crocheted some squares on the ‘R’ train today, for felting, then use as sew-on pockets for the inside of the bag. I’m hoping one of the squares will be just the right size for a metrocard. crosses fingers.

After that I just need handles.

2/26 - ordered handles off etsy, waiting for them. refelted the bad in an effort to correct some flaring in the lip, oh no! It shrunk A LOT more -- it was so felted up, I didn’t think it would! :( Oh well, it’ll do.

3/27 - took me a month to attach the handles. I am so lazy! Finally done though.
