This is my first knitting project since starting my nursing clinicals last semester. I was inspired to make a hat of this style after having seen a beautiful wool hat as such at an Irish import store that cost…way too much. Since I’ve cut back my hours at work, I find that I have some time to knit again (hooray)!

If this goes well, I may try a felted version for the next go around.

Finished! In about a week of in between classes, work, and studying. I love love LOVE this hat. It was exactly what I was looking for. I’l definitely be making more/another. The pattern is wonderful. Perfect, in fact. The only thing I wished it was more specific about was how to attach the brim to the hat. I figured it out, but it took a couple of tries to get it right.
