After months of no knitting mojo, this lept out at me and screamed KNIT ME!

So I am. (You don’t argue with the Knitting Muse.)

Fun, quick, simple! Very close to instant gratification knitting. There’s a wonderful balance between something interesting to knit, but not so much that you can’t watch TV or listen to an audiobook while you knit.

The picot cast-off took for.freaking.ever…halfway through I realized that it would have been quicker and easier to do a crochet cast-off w/ picots instead. Will try that on my second one…and yes, there will be another. I just need to find some yarn…

I ran out of the Ruca, but my skein was a bargain bin pick and I think the yardage was off. I finished off with a skein of Lara, and I think it’s alright…very partyish though!
