Inspired by the beautiful cowls knit from this hat pattern by xstitch, suskyre, and sandiegorabbit.

Cast on 224 stitches for a double loop cowl. On the first pattern row, I found it very helpful to add stitch markers to separate the pattern repeats due to the size of my project, and wished I’d put them in sooner. However, after working through all the rounds of a full pattern repeat, I found I no longer needed stitch markers to separate the pattern repeats and removed them from the project.

I love the squishiness and appearance of the brioche just as it is, so will not block. I love this yarn, which has been in my stash for at least 15 years.
