Notes

Happy to be testing this new design :)

Jan 11th: Swatching; using 3.5mm to get gauge.

After separating the sleeves, I did a couple of plain stocking-stitch rows across the ‘new stitches’ before starting the lace pattern (to make picking up the under-arm sleeve stitches easier).
I didn’t need to hold the yarn double for the ribbing, because I used fingering weight not lace.

21st Feb: A couple of pics because I’ve finished knitting, but it still isn’t properly blocked (lightly sprayed to flatten). I’m expecting it to grow after blocking, so the fit will have more ease (which is what I want). I may put post-blocking pics up later this week.

I adore many details of this design; the shoulder shaping, the all-over lace and the little button detail at the back. What a perfect sweater for Spring!

Thanks Isabell for the test, it’s a gorgeous pattern :)
