2nd June 2014: I’m making an improvised vest/tank top (trying it on as I go), adding fairisle from a snowflake chart I found in an old issue of VK.
Bottom-up, in the round to the armpits - then flat.

I started this just before I learned about ‘dominant colours’ in fairisle. So the first repeat that I did, by chance, had yellow as the dominant colour. I then did the second repeat with blue dominating, but actually I preferred yellow dominance, so I went back to that (and was too lazy to re-do the blue one).

19th Dec 2015: Just found this in an old project bag, and I need something like this to concentrate on right now.
I remember that I originally only intended to do a couple of chart repeats but in the end I just kept on going, so it’s covering the whole surface now - like wallpaper.

It’s a great bodywarmer - stranded beiroa = a warm fabric!

It was quite dark when I took the pics outside - so the colours aren’t true in most of them (the blue is too bright). I’d say the third from the bottom is the most accurate (& I don’t have the inclination right now to take more pics…).
