Knitting from old stash. I usually omit/chop out pink, but in this case the colour combinations remind me of the ‘northern lights’, so I’m leaving a little pink in there.

I’m aiming for a 36, so I cast on using the numbers/neckline for size ‘S’ in the willow creek pattern, and now I’m just trying it on and adjusting as I go along.

7th Mar: I’m finding it fiddly to work with this yarn; the silk component has random clumpy bunches - which I am having to pull to the back of the work (because they’re mainly black in this colourway and look like flies). Also as the silk yarn is twisted around the main yarn, I’m occasionaly getting a tension issue between the two threads….
Update a few hours later - it does get a little easier (note to self - stop buying yarn ‘on offer’ as it’s usually discontinued for a reason!).

12th Mar: This is turning in to a bit of a random jumper -
I’m liking it though, although the weather is warming up so I think I’ll put it aside for a while…

7th Nov: Picked this up again - hopefully it’ll be done for the cold weather that’s on the way…

For my neck I picked up every stitch along the front/back and sleeves and 3per4 down each front side, which gave me 112.

notes: cc 20g each sleeve, 20g bottom, 8g neck
