My biggest issue while making this was how many times I got to the end of a row and realized I must have miscounted somewhere along the way. But this is one of my favorite projects of all time! Never done interlocking filet before, and I suspect there will be a lot more of it in my future.

When I took a picture of it, I noticed a rather glaring mistake. I wasn’t gonna fix it at first, but it kept bothering me so I ended up frogging back to the mistake (around row 217) and redoing it. Took about 11 extra days, but it’s done and I’m happy with it now. I’ll leave the original photo for anyone who wants to play “spot the error” (though I think it’s pretty obvious).
