Doubled the garter stitch border but it still wants to flip back on itself

Worked six increase repeats, using approx 60 g of the yarn

Would be a quick knit if I didn’t have to take so much time off!

6 - 7 - 6 with 9 g of yarn left

You’d have thought that 200 g is 200 g but this shawl has a lot more heft than others I’ve made

I thought it was going to be a lil tiddly but it’s blocked out to 240 x 45.5 cm. It’s VAST.

Can you block a project TOO hard? It’s gone from this sproingy, twisty hefty piece to almost slinky, definitely drapey. The difference is so great that I can’t even think about ‘better’ nor any kind of preference. Flabbergasted. Flabbergasted. Well, the lace motif has definitely opened up now! ;)
