hoogh i had some issues with this one - NO problems at all with the pattern, just with my own choices lmao

i didn’t end up liking a few of the yarns i’d bought, particularly together. pitfalls of ordering online (and of not really understanding marling at the time!)
-should have sized up at least 1 needle size, maybe 2
-i’m not a huge fan of the look of the centered double decrease, next time i’d just do twice as many k2togs evenly spaced, or a k3tog in place of the cdd

so since it’s barely big enough for my melon due to my gauge, this will be a gift to my MIL. i REALLY love the marling effect, particularly with how colorful and vibrant HHF yarn is. i’m planning one that’s actually for me, now that i understand better how the colors interact <3
