This project is a great argument to convince anyone to respect and love crochet a bit more. A very easy pattern with an incredible effect. Nobody guesses how you do it until you tell them!

I would use some other yarn next time. This is a bit too itchy to go close to skin. The colourway is gorgeous, but I’ve done another one as a present in white and it was stunning. I’m thinking of doing another one with something a bit hairier, like an alpaca or mohair blend. Gorgeous pattern!
