Between two larger projects, I bumped into this pretty little shawlette that specified that one solitary skein of Malabrigo lace I bought years ago on an impulse and had never found time or oomph to do something with. Along comes the gorgeous Citronette.

I’m working on this in my (shamefully
unsustainable) air travels. It fits in a little bag I can pull out at any time and off we go, extremely long rows of stockinette, and getting longer. It fills the hours at the airport and on the plane quite nicely, but it makes for slow progress. Oh well

The yarn is like butter, it doesn’t split as I thought it would, being 1-ply and all, and using the very pointy Knitpicks wood needles. I keep wondering whether the colour is right, but that’s just me being me. It’s going to be a glory to wear… whenever it’s finished.

I can’t get the colours right though. I don’t know where or when to take the picture to do it justice. Oh well.
