I loved this design, a passion at first sight. Japanese crochet is the best you can get!

Habu’s Merino lace is perfectly suited for crocheting, surprisingly. It sticks in place better than any cotton, it has a tweedy-ish, semi-solid look that looks a lot more interesting, again, than any cotton I’ve seen for crochet. It’s tidy but has a lot of personality. It looks rich but it has depth. Very interesting stuff! I recommend it.
