18 cast on
increased to 52 (26 on each side)
it feels a little wide but not exactly baggy

I knit this in a 1-2-1-2-1-2 sequence. I started with the toe of sock 1 (in contrastcolour because I seem to have a fondness for contrastcoloured toes and heels and cuffs) and after finishing the toe-section of sock 1 I switched to the toe section of #2. I continued knitting the foot of #2 and when I got to the heel, I switched to #1 and knitted the foot and heel and then switched back to #2 again.
ribbing k2p2 for 10 rows

They feel comfortable though slightly spacious (not exactly baggy…) Next time I’ll try 48 stitches, which may or may not get slightly snug. Then I’ll decide what my default will be smile

I prefer knitting my socks on 3mm and not 2.5mm (as I see plenty of people do). I have a habit of overtightening or something, 2.5mm makes my socks almost non-stretchy and _tight_. Sticking to 3mm for now.
