Finished the first one.
KP2 for 13 rows was about right.
Did two complete sets of the pattern before knitting flat. I guess I messed up something, though, because I couldn’t join after 8 rows - would have been on the wrong side - had to join after 9. Looks ok, though.
Did three sets of the two finishing rows instead of 2 to make them a bit longer.
Cast on the second one today!

I messed up the pattern on the ribbing on the hand end. Fortunately, I noticed before I finished the second one so I made the same mistake on the second one. Yay, they match!

These were a gift for my sister. Turns out she loves them! We were talking yesterday and she wants more for Christmas. She’d like black ones. And brown. And pink. :)
