I measured my fella’s feet and although his feet are 10.5 inches long, I failed to take account of needing negative ease, so they are a little big on him but he is happy with them anyway. I have a feeling they will be boot socks! It’s not as though I can even try and felt them a little as the yarn is superwash!!

I used nearly all of my yarn - I had about a yard left. I got this yarn online in a 500g cone, split it into 5 and then dyed it different colours, so I’m not sure if the yardage above is quite correct. I think it could do with longer colour repeats so next time I knit these, I’ll do a longer colour repeat. I think these socks would be brilliant in Babylonglegs yarn.

Loved knitting this pattern and would knit them again in a flash! I am so used to knitting socks in the round that initially, it was a bit of a challenge to get my head round, but I get it completely now - easy peasy!
