Bought this yarn in the post Christmas sale in John Lewis. Have been wondering what to do with it in the meantime. Found this pattern on Knitty and after successfully knitting Mabelle, decided to go for it.

I’ve got 10 skeins, but my calculations say I’ll need just over 8 balls, so I might make it a little longer. The beauty of it being top down is that I can make it as long as I need. A little extra length will probably suit me better.

Decided to add a little length before the waist shaping - an extra 2 inches. It means the shaping is hitting in the correct place and it means that the sweater is more flattering.

This was in hibernation for ages, but I decided it was about time that I got it finished. It’s so comfy to wear, I’m glad I did ;)
