Notes

While stash diving, I noticed I had a load of handspun yarn, some of which was from very early on when I was learning to spin. I was less inclined to knit with it, but didn’t want to throw it away.

I wanted to use it in a project that I’d be able to mix the colours in a random way and use the different weights of yarn. It didn’t matter to me that I’d have some bits more lacy than others.

The 10 stitch blanket pattern seemed like a perfect idea.

The first corners are tricky, but once you’ve mastered them, then it’s easy going. A nice easy project to do while watching TV. Finishing it kept me sane while I was recuperating from a lisfranc fracture (broken foot).

My partner loves bold colours and has just said that the next one can be primary colours. Eeep!!
