I was undecided on the pompom vs no pompom thing and leaning towards no, but after trying it on I think I’m going to have to go for it. (At some point. I have never made a pompom in my life.) It’ll add some much needed balance to the hat.

I do love how this turned out, though. The yarn is to die for, and feels so soft against my head. I can’t wait to knit up the SQ of PureWash DK I have lined up - I can almost feel the comfy already.
