Another test knit for the lovely Tamy! I probably won’t get a chance to get started on this until next weekend, but I’m super excited about it. This was exactly the sort of pattern I was looking for to use this yarn, with just a smattering of lace eyelets.

Started this a few days ago, and I’m loving it so far. The pattern is working up so nicely with this yarn - great stitch definition, great tension, fantastic colour. I’m looking forward to reaching the second colour in the pattern to see how they work together.
The only change I’ve made so far is super minor - I’m slipping the first stitches purlwise instead of knitwise, just out of habit!

This shawl is huge. And amazing. But huge -- I can’t for the life of me find a tape measure to get a specific measurement, but blocking it took up the entirety of my queen sized bed (much to the annoyance of my cat), and it is easily big enough to wrap around my neck twice without being constricting.

The pattern itself is very easy to work, good for TV knitting. (I watched basically all of “Luke Cage” while knitting this. And a bunch of Christmas movies.) Watch out for the texture rows, though, there’s some hidden purl rows in there!

And P.S. this yarn is to die for. Swanky, indeed.
