FYI: Pictures show the shawl in progress; except for the first pic, they go in order. The middle set I believe was taken at the end of the first skein.

6/24 - started. trCl is tr3tog (beginning of row is turning chain + tr2tog), shell is two clusters separated by ch3, shell-INC is same but three.

7/8 - up to row 10 whee

7/9 - middle of row 12, and done with first skein.

7/21 - row 14

7/25 - AUGH. Looks like I managed to do 15 a row early - I am NOT frogging back two rows! (I could, but I won’t.) So, changing 17 to:

17: cluster in cluster, (ch3 sc ch3 sc ch3) between clusters, (ch6 sc-in-pineapple ch6 sc-in-pineapple ch6) over pineapple sections

18: as written (Ch 5, sc in next ch-space, ch 3, sc in next ch-space; repeat from across skipping all trCl) except (sc ch3 sc) in pineapple points

7/26 - finished! I discovered why I ended up doing row 15 a row early - the pineapple on one side was short one stitch at the base, which meant that it looked like I was a row ahead of where I actually was. So don’t use my project as a perfect guide for what it should look like! But it is DONE and I shall be giving it to my mom tomorrow.
