Started on May 1. Sized hook down to 4.5 for a denser look. Pattern calls for DK, I am using aran. First square came out smaller than pattern (6x6 cm), but that is ok because I will be using my measurements for the construction. Not sure yet if I will do long sleeves or short sleeves.

Decided to do long sleeves, calculated that I will need 162 squares. I have about 90 at the moment. I have been working on this project intermittently throughout the spring and summer. Each square takes me about 15-20 minutes to make, and I can typically make about 20 squares before I get bored of the project and want to work on something else. I am planning on taking this project to college as it’s easy to transport and I can work on it on and off.

finally finished! I decided to keep the top with short sleeves in the end, and I knit the sleeves instead of crochet to make them more flowy.
