My first time being a test knitter! I’m really excited to do this.
It’s an easy start so far. The lace border was enough to keep you interested but not difficult, and I love the way it looks. I’m also loving the little garter “side seam” detail.
I did have to frog the first few rows because I didn’t properly read the pattern in order to create that side seam detail. But that was on me not paying enough attention and not the pattern…as long as you actually read it, it’s very clear.
Just a few hours of knitting over 2 nights and I’ve got 3 1/2” already. My kind of knit!

2 more evenings of knitting and I’m at 8” on the body.
I’m not loving this Bamboo Pop yarn I chose. It’s just slippery enough that it’s tough to keep an even tension and it splits easily. It feels really nice and I love the color, at least. But I already know I’ll be making another one in Malabrigo Arroyo. (I wish I had gotten that from the start)

I am totally loving this little tank! I love all of the little details. The lace inset on the front neck and straps with the garter stitch strap after it is such a nice touch. I also love the 2 stitch garter border along the neck and armhole so that you don’t have to pick up stitches and knit a separate border.
I can’t believe how fast it’s knitting up. I have just one more strap and I’m already done.

Aaaannnnndddd…we’re blocking! It looks all crooked in the photo, but it’s really just the angle I had to take the photo from. I still can’t believe how fast this knit up for such a cute knit.

This yarn took forever to dry! Like more than 24 hours. But now all ends are woven in and it’s truly, 100% done. Hoping to wear it this weekend.
I will say, I don’t know that I would recommend this yarn for this sweater. It feels great and has a nice drape, but I don’t love how it blocked out. It performed very differently than my swatch. My stitches seemed to have opened up, yet at the same time, it seems like it shrank a little. It is also not forgiving At. All. It shows every little lump and bump.
