Notes

11/9: Cast-on using the Rain Drop Blue worsted merino RKC yarn. Should be able to finish the first cuff on the 3.75 mm DPs this evening so that I can switch to the 4.5 mm circulars tomorrow. This will be my first time knitting in the round on two circular needles. I love learning new techniques!

11/10: First mitten almost complete -just need to finish up the thumb. The orange and blue colour scheme is looking pretty fabulous, am I right? Knitting with 2 circs is unbelievably easy. Unbelievably. The only change I made to the pattern is that I used the technique (found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PjA0IR0MOU) to prevent jogs in the stripes. Easy peasy.

11/12: Boom! Done like dinner. A very quick and easy project. I’ll have to make a few more pairs and experiment with different colours & stripe patterns.
