8/31: Finished project, but opted for the traditional cast-off, as why does it need to be stretchy anyway? :)

8/30: Yikes -took a little bit of a hiatus there! I picked up this project again, and have almost reached 13 inches in width. I’m doing one more repeat of the pattern, and will be using the stretchy bind-off technique found here: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall09/FEATjssbo.php

2/4: I cast on 256 in the round, and followed the pattern as written. I just read through other peoples’ notes, and now know the pattern needs to be altered for knitting in the round. Argh! Frogging, and will start again, casting on 252.

Pattern SHOULD be:

1) K2, P3, K1,P1
2) K1, YO, K1, slip 1, P2, PSSO, K1, P1
3) K3, P2, K1, P1
4) slip 1, K2, PSSO, P1, YO, P1, K1, P1
