Changes made to the long cable version of the pattern: slip the selvedge sts only on the front edges, added the buttons. Used Old Norwegian CO and standard BO in 2x2 ribbing. Reinforced the upper back join using the yarn tail, per Jenn’s suggestion.

Wet blocked the pieces prior to assembly. The long rolled edges could have used more attention but that didn’t interfere with seaming.

Front Closure
Worked 30-chain loops using size 0 crochet hook and fingering weight Jamieson’s Spindrift and Rauma Finullgarn in 4 different colors in case I want to change up the loop look. The loop is knotted on one end which is on the WS of the ribbing & the upper end of the loop pulled through the ribbing under the button & looped around the button on the right front. To close the front, the loop is pulled to full length & wrapped around the button on the left front.
