Heavily modified these. A spell of cold weather prompted me to get cracking on them. Thinking that it would be better to simplify the design so that they would get done quickly, I omitted the fingers, keeping only the thumb separate. Also did only a few repeats of the pattern and plain st.st beyond that. Didn’t turn out too well as I didn’t read the pattern properly; these are not reversible for left & right due to the thumb gussett, but I couldn’t be bothered to pull them out & start again. Were only destined as an emergency pair for the car.
