Making this in two colours with wool I was gifted by LARP-friend Salima (character’s name).

Work as in pattern, but switch to the other colour after Round 1 and Round 5.
The ‘wraps’ pull down slightly to a position that looks like they are in the centre of the colour, even if it is the last row knitted in that colour.

This pattern is beautiful and intricate and deserves that one special skein of yarn!

After finishing the first hat I still had some wool left, so I am knitting a second Gather to pattern, and changing colours the row after the wrap as described above.
