After a failed project, I am following Kat’s wise example to knit this project with the yarn that was unexpectedly freed up. So this is the second KAL with this yarn and I’m feeling much more confident.

Official gauge: 21 sts / 10 cm
My gauge:
needle 2.75 mm: 23 sts, 37 r / 10 cm
needle 3.5 mm: 19 sts, 31 r / 10 cm

On needles 3.5 mm I will need ~220 sts for the desired chest circumference -- size XXL.

After the lace, start raglan increases. After every ktbl row, add 2 shortrows (1 there, 1 back again) at 1, 3, 5 sts from back raglan markers.
(tally 15 rows)

Bind off armscye and use cable cast on to pick up 22 sts each side.
Knit one row.
Move BOR to middle of the picked up stitches.
Increase at underarm markers (yo, k1, sm, k1, yo) until 253 sts every second row.

Knit until 2 to 4 cm under the largest part of the bust before starting waist shaping.
Decrease every 8th row.
After waist shaping, knit plain for 17 rounds before increasing every 6th rown until 300 sts.
