Because of the gauge difference I can knit 2 sizes smaller. At this gauge the resulting fabric is still quite dense, so I wouldn’t recommend using this yarn with smaller needles to get to the gauge from the pattern.
Short Rows
After joining in the round, knit 2 rounds as stated in the pattern, then add short rows to get the back neck edge higher.
Short rows are knit between the back armscye markers and each turn is 1 stitch further towards the front, use W&T.
Counting only RS rows, I added 5 short rows. During short rows, do increases as stated in the pattern. Finish off short rows section by knitting 1 row plain to complete repeat.
Increases
Because you keep increasing during the short rows, it’s imperative to keep an eye on your stitch numbers -- the back panel will get to the intended amount of stitches sooner than the front because it’s already got more rows!
After getting to the correct number of stitches on all parts, knit straight for 3 rounds. Divide for sleeves.
Waist shaping
Start waist shaping after 30 rows straight. Decrease every 6th row.
Then 13 rows plain without decreasing or increasing, then start increasing every 4th row. (I am curvy).
Finish with 4 rows plain, then knit bottom ribbing, starting with a purl row.
Sleeves
Knit plain without decreasing until the elbow (ca. 64 rows)
Then decrease every 6th row according to the pattern.
Finish with ~19 rows plain before starting on the cuffs.
