This yarn was fantastic to work with. I’m very sad it’s discontinued but I found 13 balls on EBay. I used nearly all of it and had just enough to do the sewing up. Haven’t blocked it yet. I love the drape of the yarn and how the collar folds back. The body is knitted bottom up in stocking stitch, in pieces. The sleeves are nice in garter stitch. My favourite part was knitting the border. The lace pattern is easy to memorize but keeps it interesting. The border is knitted in two pieces, one to go all round the bottom and one really long piece to go up one front and down the other. I would like to knit this pattern again. Knitting with silk and wool yarn is lovely, will see how careful I can be washing it.
