For the sleeves I used a vintage pattern from I think the 80s or 90s. I bought it because I liked the pouffy sleeves. I then looked for a pattern with dropped shoulders I could add the sleeves to easily and found the Margot by Emily Wright in Knitter Magazine Issue 153. I loved the pleated peplum. The cable part and one stripe was knitted with a pack of Sublime Cashmerino Silk DK that I bought at the Knitting and Stitching Show a few years ago. The Red variegated yarn is an acrylic blend, Hayfield Spirit so goodness knows how the whole Frankensteined sweater will wash but I’ll be carefull to wash on a cool wash as this has taken ages to knit. Would also like to knit a plain version without the big sleeves as per the original pattern by the designer but this was fun to mash up the 2 patterns and use the weird combination of colours.
