Notes

Was trying to design my own pattern with this wool, then my Ravelry membership came through and I found an already done pattern that kinda fits the tension so am having a go at this now - much easier than messing with graph paper but I know the yarn for this pattern is a bit of an experiment as its a thin mohairy one (driving me nuts at the moment because the skein I started with had lots of very very thin places in it , hanging on by one hair ,that I had to break and rejoin so there will be mega loads of ends to sew in!). The original yarn for the pattern is DK so will have quite a different texture to it, hopefully light and airy but maybe sad and floppy!
Update : Happy this is finished at last as I’ve had it on the go for a long time but I’m pleased with how it turned out. The mohair is very , very lightweight to wear which I like. Loved knitting from the top down and will definitely try that again on another project as the raglans fitted nicely and it’s great to knit on a long circular needle but found the sleeves fiddly to knit in the round - can’t knit smaller circles comfortably on a circular needle and I’m too clumsy to use double-pointed ones - obviously need more practice! Did mess around with the pattern a bit because I wanted the lace panel to start lower down so added more rows below the armholes.
