sometimes I go months, ehm, even years without knitting, and then it just so happens that once I get going again I start something new … so, even though I’m in summer knitting mode at the moment, I look forward to finishing this one, any fall now … 8)

since I’m lousy at assembling and sowing I love patterns like this (as described in a similar Drops pattern) “The pullover is knit in one piece on circular needles from the bottom edge of the front. Sts are cast on at each side for the sleeve. The piece is knit over the shoulder, binding off and casting on for the neck opening, binding off the sleeve sts, and knit down to the bottom edge of the back.”

this pattern comes from this Filati magazine, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be available online:

I like how the simple pattern is spiced up a bit with the cable dividing the one half that has knitted and the other that has purled stitches.

I decided it was time to send this project the pond and the yarn back to the stash. I still like the latter but felt that the design wasn’t that tempting anymore, at least to finish, not the least since I found a mistake in the cable, just about in the middle 8)
