must have used this old video of a TAAT Turkish CO at least 10 times over the years since I found it, and though I’m (obviously 8) not a huge sock knitter I never knew why everyone doesn’t use this method, not to mention two at a time. admittedly I do YO increases instead of R / L leaning increases, but other than that I find this method up til the start of the heels, at least, is most efficient.

Since I’m such a loose knitter, I particularly like how the slip stich pattern made the sock a bit more snug, but stretchy.

However the heel was the greatest discovery for me. I did GSR but this way of adding extra stitches for the heel meant leveling up for me, and I really like how “the heel corners” got so nice and neat that they didn’t have to be fixed.

Will most likely return to this pattern again!
