I’m planning to do slouchier tops on these, as described in Swedish here!

Love my new HiyaHiya Sharp set, and am relieved that the 2,75mm needle it contains seems to be a perfect match for me with this slightly thicker yarn. Being a notoriously loose knitter it’s already clear though, that this semi-ribbing on the foot is a winner for me!

made it past the heels of the slouchy glacier socks - using _my_ favorite sock needles from the hiya hiya sock +1::skin-tone-2star2wave::skin-tone-2 I have exactly half of the skein left and will now switch to the “accordion” leg of the pattern from stickaboo.se #dragspelssocka

All of a sudden it feels like spring and I’d much rather play with summery projects for now … grimacing

sweat_smile finally finished one of the socks, despite having had to rip back to the heel after I had switched to the “accordion” leg of the pattern from stickaboo.se
- only to be struck by hubris relaxed I was about half way through on both legs when I realized the reason they weren’t slouching the right way was I hadn’t stuck to the pattern after that first glance … face_with_rolling_eyes #whenknittingattacks

I pretty much lost the yarn chicken race! Even though I realised I had to settle for one row less on the second sock, I had to add on the remaining en from the first sock to make it through the second cast-off =/

The one good thing about this yarn is that those extra ends will disappear into the fabric more easily than in less fluffy yarn. But otherwise I don’t think I’ll use it again. It was quite splitty and as I use sharp 2.75mm needles it was a bit of a drag to work with, even though the striping is nice.
