due to a time zone mix up, I was late to class and also managed to miss the part about stitching up the bag last, but one might wonder if it was my subconscious that dodged the free hand needle work.

either way, it would obviously have been more clever to choose a higher contrast yarn for at least the duplicate stitching. other than that one, I think the chain stitch made with crochet hook will be especially useful to me in the future!
